The HIRAM AWARD is the most coveted form of merit given by the The Grand Lodge to a Master Mason who has served the Craft as a whole and the Masonic Fraternity as an organization – with devotion over and above the ordinary. It is the highest honor, other than being Master of the Lodge, that can be bestowed on a member of a Masonic Lodge.
The award consists of a Certificate and a Medallion. The medal has the Square and Compass emblem with the letter G in the center. These are encircled with a Laurel Wreath and around it are the words: “Hiram Award, Dedicated Service.” The back of the medal has a representation of the Seal of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines.
